Hey there! I’m Laura, hobby-based makeup artist and photographer.
About my photography:
I prefer to work with natural light, because I don’t have studio lighting, nor do I have a studio. And even more so, I prefer building up sets out of the environments around me rather than standing in front of a white sheet.
I have fun using photography as a medium for making stories and characters come to life. I’ve done shoots with my friends reenacting fairy tales, dressed as mythology characters, etc. I’ve got a ton more planned out. I’m just waiting to have people interested and close by that can model for me. =)
I am willing to travel a reasonable distance to work with people. I currently live in St. Johnsville, NY. I also have a solid place to stay in Troy. I’m more than willing to work in those areas if the opportunity presents itself!
